Vise
Vise, a technology-driven Investment Advisor, is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Specialist to join our Investment Strategy Team. In this role, you will be an indispensable resource at the operational center of the Vise investment process. You will apply your financial services experience to learn and understand Vise's established internal workflows and offer an entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset to implement and improve the Vise middle and back office investment processes. This role is onsite in NYC in our SoHo office.
What you bring on day one:
Minimum of two years in a financial services operations role Experience working for or with SMA providers and TAMPs Familiarity with RIA custodian platforms such as Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, Goldman Sachs, Altruist, and TradePMR Ability to work with long short strategies or strategies that include margin Proficient with alternative investments including interval funds and private placements Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, or other data platforms is a plus What you will own:
Ensure all accounts are in good order on a daily basis by reviewing daily reconciliation reports Resolve daily account issues at custodians and on the Vise platform Run and analyze daily and weekly portfolio oversight reports to ensure all accounts are being managed to their mandate Work directly with the engineering team to articulate solutions to systematize daily processes and serve as the liaison between our engineering team and custodial partners Ensure all Vise investment processes adhere to regulatory requirements, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and reporting processes Ensure our performance engine is in good order and performance is up to date for all client accounts Support daily trading activities Opportunity to make a significant impact at a hyper-growth fintech start-up Competitive salary and equity Unlimited PTO and great benefits, including $1 medical insurance 401k plan with generous matching and self-directed brokerage account option Access to investment management and free financial advice from one of our partner RIA firms Paid lunches at our NYC office Career growth and development opportunities Through the internal and market data Vise has collected, we expect the salary range for this position to be $125,000 - $150,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package.
