Aircraft Paint Technician 2nd Shift- DAS Aviation
Join West Star Aviation, LLC as an Aircraft Paint Technician. The 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12am, with a 10% -15% premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, and eligibility to transfer to 1st shift as needed. The ideal candidate will have basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft refinishing, understanding PDS Sheets, and comply with paint procedures and techniques. Responsibilities include: Understanding and comprehending PDS Sheets and mix ratios for materials. Spraying Single Stage, Basecoat, Clearcoat, Primer, Anti-static, and Sealers. Understanding the functions of a spray gun and adjusting for different materials. Passing Respirator Fit Test and Medical Eval. Maintenance, cleaning, and repair of shop facilities, equipment, and tooling. Safely operating shop equipment such as Paint Booth and Prep deck. Basic computer skills for electronic training, manuals, maintenance databases, and Color matching paint computer and camera. Effective communication in English. Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Traveling to customers' hangars to perform paint work as needed. Seniority level: Entry level. Employment type: Full-time.
