Commercial Operations Specialist We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Commercial Operations Specialist to join our team at KSS. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and taking action on email, task system, and phone requests for order entry and general support. You will work with the sales, brand, and operations teams to keep the operation running smoothly and build a robust foundation for the highest‑functioning team in cannabis distribution. Using various communication platforms such as Slack, email, and task systems, you will ensure smooth information flow and timely execution of tasks within the organization.

Responsibilities Primary responsibilities will include pricing, promotion, product, and customer setup, task‑based order entry, and providing support to the different teams on Encompass and Encompass Mobile, our internal systems.

Key Duties

Support sales by entering orders submitted through phone call, text message and email

Answer questions via phone, email and task system for customers and suppliers regarding AR, delivery, product status, etc.

Provide support to Supplier Users on Dashboards and tools within Encompass

Provide Encompass ordering and technical support to internal and external users

Create and maintain key database records in Encompass

Support e‑commerce orders and accounts (Leaflink / Eaze / etc.)

Act as Point of Contact for Territory Managers on PTO

Become in‑house expert on Encompass ERP

Set up and onboard new accounts in ERP

Assess customer needs, answer questions, and assist with ordering process

Meet individual goals and collaborate with sales reps to successfully meet team goals

What We’re Looking For

Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proven experience handling high volume incoming calls, emails, text messages

Able to quickly execute tasks while providing excellent customer service

Associate degree strongly preferred

Experience in wholesale distribution

Experience with Encompass RAS and Encompass WMS

Order fulfillment, inventory management, or sales experience

Experience with relational databases (SQL is a plus)

Comfortable directing people through workflows and leading new processes

$26 - $31.25 an hour. Please note, we consider a number of factors such as internal pay parity, relevant experience/skills, geographic location, etc.
