Overview
Position: Assistant Scheduler at Swinerton. Develop pre-construction, baseline job schedules, update schedules, and evaluate progress and construction job schedules to maintain timely and profitable job completion. Responsibilities
Develop pre-construction proposal/bid schedules Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in development of master project schedules Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in development of subcontractor schedules Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in updating schedules Perform schedule analysis for change orders and claims Assist in claims preparation and analysis Develop scheduling department procedures Train field personnel in scheduling procedures Prepare “as built” schedules Complete other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications
Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience 1-2 years project engineering experience Ability to read and understand plans and specifications Knowledge of construction methods and processes Construction-related scheduling experience - Critical Path Method Familiarity with job cost information Computer skills Benefits
