Position Summary: The Industrial Painter foreman supervises a crew of craftsmen and semi-skilled employees in work activities related to painting equipment and structures for protection and cosmetic purposes. The position also requires maintaining, mixing, and possessing thorough knowledge of paint and coating materials to ensure equipment or structures are painted and protected as per contract or specifications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, identifying tools and safety risks, mixing paints, applying proper techniques, working at heights safely, and maintaining work areas. Qualifications include 5+ years of industrial painting experience, 1+ year of supervisory experience, proficiency in managing crews, time, and costs, and the ability to meet physical and safety requirements. Reliable transportation and necessary tools are also required. This role reports to overseeing a crew of 5-15 craft workers, including journeyman, helpers, and laborers. Physical requirements involve standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and in various weather conditions while wearing PPE.
