Team Leader/DOT – Federal Express Corporation
Location: Memphis, TN
Salary: $81,900.00 – $150,100.00 (approx.)
Responsibilities
Lead employees in complex sort or yard functions.
Ensure proper package handling and methods are followed.
Ensure the area’s effective operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience Six (6) months FedEx handler experience, preferably including three (3) months in the work area having the open position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to complete basic and re‑currency training.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
Effective verbal communication in a time‑sensitive, noisy environment.
Ability to read and speak English proficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with safety officials and respond to inquiries as per FMCSA guidelines.
Job Conditions
Must meet qualifications as outlined in Section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Preferred Qualifications None specified.
