12.5 hours a week (on student contact days) HOURLY PAY RATE:

$17.00 per hour Overview: LCA hires staff who care about the spiritual and academic growth of their students, maintain high academic standards, and love Christ and live by biblical principles. LCA has a community of staff and faculty who join together regularly for prayer, biblical worldview training, celebrations, and staff development. As an LCA employee, it is essential to understand, live out, and wholeheartedly agree with Legacy’s Statement of Faith, Social Stance, Core Values, and the Profile of a Legacy Employee. This staff member will assist in overseeing the Adventures 4 Kids Program while nurturing and guiding our K-4 students during the after-care portion of the day. Program activities include active play inside and outside, creative play, and quiet time for reading and homework. Adventures 4 Kids is available to students from 2:20 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on all school days unless otherwise specified. The assistant's hours are 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., but may vary based on after-care attendance numbers. Job Requirements & Qualifications: Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and demonstrated character of integrity. Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith. Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship. Comfortable connecting biblical truths and worldview perspectives to students’ lives. Implement programming as directed by the Adventures 4 Kids Program Coordinator. Ability to manage student behavior while building positive relationships among students. Ability to work collaboratively with administration, support staff, faculty, and students. Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
