Job Summary
Within the SDP affiliated network of dental practices, the Office Manager (OM) is responsible for monitoring and managing the operations of a single location. The OM will focus on executing numerous operational tasks in their dental practice with the goal of enhancing practice level efficiencies and growth in conjunction with the SDP support team and the primary dentist of the practice. The OM works closely with the Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to drive a positive team culture and achieve positive practice results.
Responsibilities Monitor and manage the operations of a single dental practice location.
Execute operational tasks to enhance practice efficiencies and growth.
Collaborate with the SDP support team and the primary dentist.
Work with the Regional Director of Operations to drive a positive team culture and practice results.
Qualifications 3 years of dental office management or equivalent experience
Proficient in dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc.)
Strong understanding of marketing strategies, platforms, tools and metrics
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word)
Solid understanding of P&L management (budgeting) and experience with P&L
Ability to enforce current labor laws and adhere to regulatory guidelines (OSHA, HIPAA, CDC)
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under pressure
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and leadership abilities
Staff and patient scheduling, time & attendance management, payroll process management, accounts payable management
Manage insurance claims and other forms of payment; focus on patient satisfaction and experience
Work Environment/Conditions Full-time schedule approximately 40 hours per week; extended hours may be required
Ability to travel up to 10%
Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
Exposure to potentially hazardous objects and/or materials
