Senior Premium Auditor role at

Builders Mutual . This field-based opportunity is rooted in teamwork, inclusion, and expertise, delivering commercial insurance solutions and safety resources. The Senior Premium Auditor will report to the Premium Audit Field Manager and will handle larger, more complex audits with a high level of understanding of insurance coverages. This role may provide guidance and training to less experienced auditors and is expected to operate with more autonomy than an entry-level auditor. The position is based in Georgia with a focus on Macon, Columbus, and Augusta; the field work is conducted from a home office with in-person meetings as needed. Expect to be in the field about 3–4 days per week, with overnight travel as required. You may travel to our Raleigh office for meetings and company events up to four times a year. Your Work as a Senior Premium Auditor

Schedule and conduct physical audits of selected commercial lines policies by reviewing the customer’s business operations, including examining, verifying, and recording pertinent classification-related data from financial records Ensure quality of the audit through proper risk classification and exposure basis identification Utilize a laptop to record audit information and transmit completed audits in a timely manner Discuss issues with insureds to ensure understanding of changes in premium and maintain good customer relations Provide information to external customers (agents and insureds) and internal customers (underwriting, claims, accounting) about audit-related matters, including statements, procedures, and worksheets Stay informed of changes in premium auditing through discussions with industry experts and review of industry literature Demonstrate excellent time management and the ability to work from a home office with minimal supervision Conduct business professionally to protect the corporate assets of Builders Mutual Conduct physical audits and pre-audits on larger or more complex risks Mentor and train less experienced auditors as assigned Qualifications

BA/BS in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field plus 3–5 years of relevant work experience Minimum of three years’ experience in premium audit or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong computer skills (MS Office); mainframe experience a plus Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Highly effective time management Superior organizational and problem-solving skills Knowledge of NCCI and ISO manual rules as they relate to classification and calculation of exposures to determine the appropriate premium for policies assigned to be audited Travel
