Area Service Manager role at Trane Technologies. West Palm Beach, FL area. Hybrid work arrangement. What You Will Do

P&L responsibility; provide monthly revenue forecasting; help drive service agreement base growth; repairs/installation/service turnkey growth by partnering with the acquisition team (sales). Budget control responsibilities including expenses for overhead items such as fleet, uniforms, tools and safety equipment. Risk mitigation; manage risk in service agreements, service turnkey and repairs work. Oversee service coordination to respond efficiently to customers; ensure technicians’ training and skill levels are balanced to service customers; leverage resources across the district. This includes emergency repair, maintenance contracts, scheduled work and upgrades, installations, replacement components, and long-term service agreements. Attract, coach, counsel, train and develop all service employees. Drive continuous improvement through the company performance management process and technical product training programs. Develop employee skill levels including customer service, process and technical skills. Ensure margin expectations are met during sales and fulfillment activities. Maximize cash flow by invoicing promptly after work completion, managing expense budgets, and increasing utilization of the service team. Improve transactional processes affecting customer experience and satisfaction. Ensure environmental, health and safety compliance within the service team. Provide training to ensure a safe and productive work environment at shop and customer sites. Travel to customer job sites is required; may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms with exposure to variable weather, moving parts, heights, and other conditions. What You Will Bring

5+ years of experience in HVAC or related field, technical systems, equipment, or skilled trades. 3+ years managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules. Project management skills to oversee successful project execution for startups and customer requests. Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with a clean record; no major infractions in the last 3 years (e.g., DUI, license suspension, reckless driving). Practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with leadership principles. Compensation

Base salary: $85,000 to $95,000 annually. Total compensation includes an incentive plan. Base pay ranges may vary by seniority and location. Benefits
