Engineering Manager, Recruiter and Mentor | Client Relationship Management | Account Delivery
Project Engineer / project Coordinator with 8-15 years of experience preferably in Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas Industry in West Texas region.
The base location of this position is Midland, TX and requires travel to the sites in West Texas and New Mexico.
Responsibilities
Act as an onsite project coordinator for upstream and midstream projects (i.e. Tank Batteries, Compressor Station, Booster Stations, Facility Upgrade Projects etc.)
Should have exposure of overall Project engineering life cycle, project phases (FEED/ DE) and engineering deliverables
Should have deep knowledge in Mechanical and Piping discipline and should have overall knowledge on other disciplines such as Civil Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation
Responsible for multi-discipline project coordination with client in the US and engineering / design team in India
Perform field visits to different sites, and work with project stakeholders (i.e. Operations, Technicians and Project Engineers) for project coordination and engineering design
Gather information and develop a thorough understanding of the project, while providing strong leadership skills to lead a diverse cross-functional team.
Participate in Project Review meetings, HAZOP reviews and 3D Model Reviews
Review Engineering Design and provide the technical solutions to the engineering design team and client
Should be familiar with engineering codes, standards and standard vendor package designs
Ensure effective communications with project stakeholders, clients and vendors
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ensure to comply with LTTS Policies, Client / Site safety procedure
Actively ensure there is a HSE focus within the team to ensure OHSE requirements including those documents required in design and procurement activities.
Qualifications
Demonstrate behavior and business practices commensurate with a culture of best health, safety and environmental performance
Engineering Degree in Mechanical, or Equivalent with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas Upstream and Midstream Industry
