About the role: As a Ducovany Project Quality Manager you will lead the team in development of the Quality Program, vendor oversight, procurement documentation review, customer interface, internal and external audits across the Dukovany program. Additionally, you will develop less senior quality and oversight personnel. You will report to the Director of Dukovany NSSS Delivery. This is a remote role. Responsibilities
Develop the Quality program for the Dukovany project.
Lead others in multiple quality assurance responsibilities to ensure externally sourced products meet the quality and technical requirements defined by Westinghouse. Coordinate teams in the development of complex plans for supplier oversight, quality verification activities, and the generation of certification documents for externally provided items.
Mentor and help in the development of less senior oversight personnel with the execution of verification activities, supplier oversight, and resolution of supplier quality issues.
Manage cross-disciplined teams in the execution of supplier oversight activities to verify Westinghouse suppliers have implemented a Quality Assurance Program determined by the items and services being provided.
Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans for complex and first-of-a-kind procurement to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or technical area is required
5+ years of experience
An NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor certification or lead auditor qualifications (ANSI 45.2.23/NQA-1) during career.
Inspector qualification (ANSI N45.2.9/NQA-1) during career
Working knowledge and application with US NRC Regulations and European Standards such as 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR21; and national standards of quality assurance, such as ASME BPVC Code, ISO, ANSI ASME NQA-1 ESPN, RCC-M, RCC-E, ISO 9001, ISO 9712 and Appendices, ANSI N45.2 and the daughter standards, IEEE Standards. Familiarity with NDE techniques and applicable practices such as SNT-TC-1A, ESPN / RCC.
Experience in engineering, procurement and operations in the nuclear industry.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year. #LI-Remote Benefits
