Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son L.P., a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is a leading specialty contracting firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, process, and plumbing design‑build projects. We are seeking a Refrigeration Project Manager to oversee industrial refrigeration projects and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain up‑to‑date change order, subcontractor, RFI, and contingency logs.
Work with the Operations Manager to ensure the labor plan is being carried out.
Create mechanical schedules and manpower loading charts for all projects.
Submit accurate, timely, and complete estimates and change order quotations.
Communicate with Purchasing and Fabrication Shop to secure schedule, scope, and price.
Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
Construction/engineering based degree is a plus.
Willingness to travel as required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Project.
Knowledge in generating construction schedules and updating the same (MS Project).
Ability to order, track, and expedite pipe valves, fittings, and specialty items to multiple locations.
Self‑starter with strong communication skills.
Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required.
