Pay Range Base pay range: $42,641.00/yr – $51,017.00/yr.

Minimum Qualifications – Non‑Competitive

One year of clerical experience.

Competitive Minimum Qualifications

One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as an Office Assistant 2.

One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SG‑7 or higher deemed eligible for Section 70.1 transfer.

For current State employees: one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as an office assistant, clerical, or keyboarding title allocated to Grade 6 or higher.

Conditions of Employment

This will be a permanent competitive appointment, a permanent non‑competitive appointment, or a temporary provisional appointment.

Provisional candidates must take the examination for Office Assistant 2 when it is next offered and must remain on the resulting eligible list to maintain employment.

For 55b/c appointment, candidates must possess the minimum qualifications, a current 55b/c eligibility letter and be subject to verification of applicant eligibility.

Promotions and transfers may change appointees’ negotiating unit. Candidates should be aware that changes in negotiating units may affect salary, insurance, and other benefits.

This position leads to a maximum salary of $52,413 based on annual performance advances.

Federal law may impose additional requirements or restrictions regarding positions that receive federal funding.
