Peer Tutor – 25/26 School Year – (For WUSD Students Only)
Washington Unified School District (WUSD) is seeking high school students to serve as peer tutors for the 2025/26 academic year. The role is temporary and grant‑funded and offers an hourly per diem compensation.
Responsibilities
Enhance academic performance for all students.
Assist with tutoring across multiple subjects as assigned.
Maintain professional communication and reliable attendance.
Collaborate with teachers for tutor selection and scheduling.
Qualifications
High school student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Currently enrolled in 11th or 12th grade (preferred).
Reliable and demonstrates strong communication skills.
Bilingual preferred but not required.
Teacher recommendation may be requested.
