Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) . Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. The Clinical Social Worker provides psychosocial evaluation and treatment services to patients and families with complex needs in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. This role includes direct support in the Neurology Department requiring familiarity and comfort with fast-paced, high-acuity environments and psychosocial complexity. Coordinates services with the interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. Provide psychosocial evaluation and treatment services to patients and families with complex needs in inpatient and ambulatory settings. Coordinate services with the interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. Support patients and families in navigating care processes and accessing resources. Qualifications

Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a social worker in a medical setting working with children, youth, and families. Master’s degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or equivalent accreditation. License as a Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW) is preferred. If not licensed, register as a Clinical Social Worker-Associate (ASW) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and actively pursue licensure. Application process for CCS paneling to be completed within the first 90 days of hire. Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification. Pay and Benefits

Pay Scale Information:
