Full-Time Nanny for Infant | Bucktown Family

November 17, 2025 (Flexibility to start the week prior)
Location:
Bucktown, Chicago
Compensation:
$25–$29/hour (based on experience)
Hours:
Guaranteed 40–50 hours/week, Monday–Friday (final schedule to be determined)

About the Family A loving Bucktown family is seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their infant. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of infant development, is organized and proactive, and will create a safe, engaging, and affectionate environment where their little one can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Provide loving, attentive care to the infant and ensure a safe, nurturing environment
Plan and engage in age-appropriate, developmentally supportive activities
Support developmental milestones and early learning through play and interaction
Follow daily sleep, feeding, and activity schedules
Assist with baby-led weaning when age appropriate
Maintain a clean and organized nursery and child-related spaces
Handle light child-related household tasks:
Wash bottles and pump parts
Child’s laundry
Empty diaper pail
Prepare and tidy up after child’s meals
Receive packages or allow entry for contractors when applicable
Schedule & Flexibility
Core schedule: Monday–Friday (exact hours to be finalized)
Occasional evenings or weekends appreciated
Opportunity for travel with the family (optional)
Requirements
3+ years of experience caring for infants
Strong understanding of early childhood development and milestones
CPR and First Aid certified
Safe driving record and willingness to drive your own car once the child begins activities (street parking available)
Up-to-date on vaccinations (Flu, COVID, MMR and TDAP)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
Warm, nurturing, and patient demeanor
Comfortable navigating stairs with child
Must be comfortable with a work-from-home parent
Spanish-speaking (Bonus)
