Patent Prosecution Paralegal
to join their growing team. This role provides hands‑on support to IP counsel in managing U.S. patent prosecution matters, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced IP paralegal who enjoys a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and wants to deepen their expertise in patent law.

3 YEARS MINIMUM OF PATENT PROSECUTION! NO EXCEPTIONS!
MUST HAVE FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC FILINGS EXPERIENCE!
What You’ll Do as the Patent Prosecution Paralegal:
Support attorneys in preparing, filing, and prosecuting U.S. patent applications
Monitor and manage patent portfolios, ensuring compliance with all prosecution deadlines
Analyze documents and correspondence from the USPTO and provide actionable summaries
Draft routine communications, including responses to office actions
Conduct IP‑related research and maintain organized, accurate records
Provide general administrative and case support to attorneys and legal teams
Must-Haves as the Patent Prosecution Paralegal:
3–5 years of recent experience supporting patent prosecution in an IP law firm or similar setting
Deep familiarity with the U.S. patent process and filing requirements
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work onsite or in a hybrid capacity in North Dallas
Nice‑to‑Haves as the Patent Prosecution Paralegal:
Formal technical training or background in a STEM field
Familiarity with docketing systems or IP management software
Experience with foreign patent filings or international prosecution
