A private family in Miami is seeking a dedicated, professional, and engaging weekend nanny to provide exceptional care for their three children (ages 1.5, 4, and 6). The ideal candidate will be nurturing, adaptable, and experienced, with a passion for fostering children’s learning and development. The family values a collaborative team player who respects their household hygiene practices, including removing shoes and washing hands upon entering the home.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate, educational, and engaging activities to support cognitive, social, and emotional development. Manage daily routines, including meals, hygiene, naps, and bedtime, ensuring consistency and structure. Prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary preferences or restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization in children’s areas, including bedrooms, playrooms, and shared spaces. Oversee children’s laundry, wardrobe management, and ensure appropriate attire for various activities. Accompany the family on occasional travel, including extended summer stays in Aspen (housing provided). Adhere to family hygiene standards, including removing shoes and washing hands upon entering the home. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning bottles, tidying play areas, and organizing baby supplies. Schedule
Friday 7:00 PM–Sunday 7:00 PM; live-in position in Miami. Occasional extended travel requirements. Flexibility for additional hours as needed. Qualifications
Current CPR and First Aid certification. Strong references from current and prior employers, demonstrating reliability and childcare expertise. Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written). Comfortable swimming and supervising children in the pool, with strong water safety awareness. Valid driver’s license with confident driving ability and a clean driving record. U.S. work authorization. Minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience preferred. Benefits
