Overview
School-based Social Worker, LSW. Compensation: $50,000 + Productivity Bonuses. School-based Social Workers with National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) work as part of an integral service team under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee. This position collaborates with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners to provide advocacy and support. When school is not in session during extended breaks and summer months, you will maintain your caseload and continue to provide services to your students by meeting with them in the community. Opportunities available in several different schools throughout central Ohio. Provide appropriate individual, group, and family mental health services, and other evidence-based clinical services as required Coordinate and monitor clinical services for youth and family in the community, including mental health, special educational services, medication management, and psychological services Regularly review and modify youth-based plans Establish and maintain strong relationships with youth, school staff and partners, and parents and families of origin Assist in stabilization efforts with youth consistent with the youth’s case plan Provide safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution Valid professional license (LSW) in Ohio 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours as needed; at least 2–3 evening appointments per week Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, and standard software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases) Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/veterans Driving and Vehicle Requirements
