Job Description About the role:
Our client, a respected and well-established law firm, is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to support a group of experienced attorneys in a fast‑paced and professional environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with at least one year of experience in a legal or administrative setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff.
Transcribe dictation and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Handle copying, scanning, filing, and document organization.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and calls.
Maintain case files and assist with document management and scheduling.
Prepare and edit reports, letters, and other materials as requested.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for daily tasks.
Assist with special projects and other administrative needs as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of legal or administrative experience (law firm experience preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines in a team‑oriented environment.
Preferred
Prior experience supporting litigation or transactional attorneys.
Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document formats.
