The Allure Wedding and Event Center in Chesterton, IN is Northwest Indiana's premier wedding and event venue. Our exquisite facility offers indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies, full catering services, and a breathtaking banquet room with an outdoor patio overlooking Chubb Lake.
We also offer a venue in LaPorte, Indiana. Event Coordinators will be scheduled to work at this location as needed.
We are currently hiring for both part-time and full-time Event Coordinators. Compensation packages depend on experience for "Staff-Level 1" and "Senior" positions.
Event Coordinators are required to manage events on Fridays and Saturdays, with occasional Sunday events. During the week, they generally have two days off, scheduled based on workload.

Responsibilities
Manage wedding leads, inquiries, and sales for our venues. Communicate effectively with clients via email, phone, online meetings, and in person. Schedule and host venue tours, explain contract options, upsell items, and oversee contract signing. Maintain accurate documentation of event details and billing. Assist clients through all planning stages, including menu choices, room design, and event agendas. Help set up ceremony and banquet spaces, including floor plans and decor. Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth event execution. Assist with venue tastings for clients. Schedule and lead wedding rehearsals. Provide on-site management of events, representing The Allure. Communicate event details with vendors and relevant parties. Stay informed about The Allure’s policies and services. Represent The Allure professionally to maximize guest satisfaction and profitability. Expectations
Meet deadlines consistently. Maintain high standards of honesty, work ethic, accountability, and professionalism. Support team members and assist outside of scheduled hours if needed. Act professionally and responsibly in all client and vendor interactions. Duties
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and cloud-based email/file management; training on CRM and event planning software will be provided. Manage events on-site, providing direction and ensuring execution. Coordinate with clients from initial contact through event completion, including rehearsals and ceremonies. Maintain knowledge of policies and services, representing The Allure accurately while maximizing satisfaction and profit. Build strong client relationships through proactive communication. Coordinate with staff and management to implement event details. Handle new and incoming leads, conversions, and inquiries. Assist with contract and agreement preparation. Communicate all event details with vendors and relevant parties. Follow up post-event to gather reviews and maintain client relationships, encouraging referrals. Be available for on-call duties during peak wedding season if needed. Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to enhance online presence and bookings.
