The Senior Social Worker/LMHC will have strong clinical experience to provide trauma-informed therapy to clients, perform intakes and assign referrals, and provide clinical support and guidance to clinical staff. Duties include trauma-informed therapy to 10 to 15 weekly CVS clients, supervision of clinical staff members (including those pursuing licensure and graduate-level interns), participation in leadership meetings, auditing and upkeep of documentation in compliance with department record keeping, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities

Maintain a therapy caseload of 10 to 15 individual client sessions weekly. Provide direct supportive services to victims/survivors of crime including crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling/therapy/groups and NYS Office of Victim Services compensation assistance. Serve as back up for completion of clinical intakes for community-based client referrals. Consult with senior clinical team. Maintain electronic and paper records in keeping with program requirements and agency confidentiality standards. Assist with training new staff, volunteers and per diems. Provide referrals for needed services to victims/survivors. Supervise MHC staff with provisional licensure toward clinical licensure in New York State. Meet weekly with staff working toward licensure; co-facilitate clinical group supervision. Assess supervisees' experience and areas of opportunity. Evaluate and share opportunities for clinical training and professional development. Audit supervisees' record keeping and documentation compliance. Participate in team meetings as a member of the St. Peter’s Crime Victims leadership team. Facilitate meetings, including huddles and clinical group supervision. Support program operations, including office coverage. Participate in hiring and disciplinary processes as necessary, including organization of resources and trainings for supervisees. What You Will Need

A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field, and active clinical licensure from the State of New York. LMHC’s with diagnostic privilege preferred. Valid NYS driver’s license and dependable transportation. 5+ years of experience providing counseling/therapy to crime victims or related field/population. Understanding and knowledge of the Criminal Justice System is desired. Prior experience providing clinical supervision and guiding licensure processes. Excellent clinical decision-making and assessment skills. New York State Certified Sexual Assault Counselor (or willingness to apply for certification with training provided by our department). Pay Range

$29.00 - $41.40 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under FLSA will be paid within the base salary range. The pay range may vary by location. Our Commitment
