The Exeter Inn is seeking a full time Front Desk Associate to join our team.

Job Summary
Greet and welcome all guests in a professional and hospitable manner. Address each guest using the S.E.A.C. method with a smile and timely, appropriate greeting.
Register guests and securely assign rooms and keys. Verify guest credit and process payment upon check-out.
Assist guests with needs, including luggage assistance, restaurant reservations, and coordinating housekeeping and maintenance requests.
Have thorough knowledge of hotel services, local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
Provide telephone services and operate the multi-line phone system. Follow service scripts.
Maintain working knowledge of the property management system and rates/packages offered. Regularly check availability, make and confirm reservations by phone or online.
Professionally handle guest requests, solve problems, and follow up on outstanding items. Escalate concerns to supervisor/manager as needed.
Maintain the lobby area to ensure cleanliness and organization in line with hotel standards.
Be flexible to perform other roles as needed to deliver exceptional customer service, and assist other departments as required.
Work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak business days as needed.
Know and practice all safety and emergency procedures. Lead emergency situations (e.g., evacuations). Follow key procedures and secure guest valuables. Manage Lost and Found per policy.
Required Experience Job Qualifications
A friendly, positive demeanor
At least 2 years of customer service experience
Demonstrated ability to work solo, as well as with a team
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Nice to Have
Previous hotel front desk experience
Proven ability to multi-task
Experience with Room Master & Open Table
