School Social Worker
to join an excellent multidisciplinary team in Crawford County, MI. This is an in-person opportunity supporting students across Pre-K through 12th grade, with a guaranteed 35-hour workweek and a maximum caseload of 60 students. The role runs from August 2025 through June 2026. In this role, you will provide targeted social-emotional support to students of all ages, collaborate with school teams, and help implement strategies that promote student well-being and academic success. Location: In-person (no remote or hybrid options available) Grade Levels: Various, Pre-K through 12th grade Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours weekly Caseload: 60 students maximum Start Date: August 2025 End Date: June 2026 Responsibilities
Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success. Conduct assessments to identify student needs and provide recommendations for appropriate services and accommodations. Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Advocate for students by connecting them with community resources and support services to address academic, social, and emotional needs. Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). Licensed School Social Worker Certificate through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). Experience working with diverse student populations and implementing social-emotional interventions. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff. What We Offer
