Overview
Daycare Toddler Teacher, $500 Sign-On Bonus*
We are seeking a highly qualified Daycare Toddler Teacher to join our team at the Arbor Park, Broadway, Kinsman, St. Clair and Ridge Road locations. You will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children. You will work closely with other teachers and staff to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for all children.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
CPR III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire
Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1+ years experience
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children
Create and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
Communicate regularly with parents and families about their child's progress
Supervise and support assistant teachers and aides
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development
Skills As the Daycare Toddler Teacher, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, families, and staff. You will also need to have strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and implement curriculum. Additionally, you will need to have a deep understanding of child development and be able to apply that knowledge to create a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Finally, you will need to be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all children.
