This position is perfect for a positive and engaging nanny seeking a role with a wonderful family in a warm and loving environment. The family is looking for a nanny with significant experience caring for young children, who is well-versed in child development and passionate about helping children reach their developmental milestones in a positive, nurturing manner. Has strong communication skills, a positive disposition, and the ability to work alongside parents working hybrid schedules. Comfortable around a small, friendly dog Responsibilities
Actively engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities, including interactive play, encouraging language development, and stimulating cognitive and motor skills. Daily walks, trips to the park, art projects, and indoor and outdoor activities. Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones - walking, trying new foods, potty training, etc. Diaper changes and supporting healthy hygiene. Cleaning of the bottles and other child-related equipment. Maintaining his eating and napping schedule. Child’s laundry. Meal preparation for the child and ensuring proper clean-up after meals. Keeping the home’s main spaces and the child’s room clean, sanitized and tidy. Restocking child-related household items and rotating his clothes and toys. Qualifications
5+ years of relevant full time nanny experience. Vaccinated (COVID, flu, RSV, TDAP) Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 2-3 relevant references. Resides within a reasonable commuting distance from Brooklyn Heights. Compensation:
Starting at $30.00+ (or higher) per hour Benefits
10 paid vacation days 5–6 paid sick/personal days Paid major holidays Unlimited OMNY card
