Student will not be scheduled for work if school clinical rotation interferes.
The imaging technician student is involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for and/or performing ultrasound examinations for diagnosis of patients.* Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served.* Under direct supervision of a registered technologist, operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality radiographs.* Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills.* Evaluates and positions patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety.# **What We Require:****Education:** High school graduate or equivalent education required. Current student in 3rd or 4th quarter of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
**Experience:** Letter of support from Program Director.
