Travel Nurse Clinical Instructor USA

Must be willing to travel up to 100% within the US during clinical rotations. This is not a state-specific travel position; assignments can be located in any of the Nightingale SOFE areas. Please see the link below for the list of all SOFE (Supervised On-ground Field Experience) locations. Travel and lodging accommodations will be provided by the organization. Supervised On-Ground Field Experience (SOFE) Areas (nightingale.edu) The starting salary for this position begins at $93,500. Nightingale College uses a faculty ladder with five levels: Instructor, Assistant Professor I, Assistant Professor II, Associate Professor, and Professor. Placement on the ladder depends on degree level and experience. Role and Responsibilities The Assistant Professor facilitates on-ground nursing education using innovative methodologies and technologies. Responsibilities include delivering curriculum, engaging with learners, and participating in faculty activities. Specific duties include: Facilitating learning at SOFE sites, including clinical, simulation, or skills labs across the US. Teaching and evaluating students in various nursing programs. Communicating with learners regarding attendance, performance, and evaluations. Adhering to partner facilities’ expectations. Participating in faculty meetings, committees, and other activities. Teaching modalities may vary based on college needs. Additional teaching or responsibilities may be assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution with 0-1 year of relevant experience. Active RN or APRN license from the state of residence, with ability to obtain multi-state licensure. Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential or commitment to obtain within a year. Knowledge of nursing practice areas. At least 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience. Supervisory experience in clinical education is preferred. Maintaining immunizations and certifications as required. Additional contributions include professional development and committee service. Experience in Concept-Based Nursing Education or distance education is preferred. Familiarity with learning management software like Canvas. This is NOT a remote or classroom teaching role. This position requires 100% travel for clinical teaching at SOFE locations across the US. Assignments are not state-specific. All full-time employees must attend new employee orientation in Salt Lake City, Utah, with travel and lodging provided.
