AZAD is seeking a Pediatric Echocardiogram Sonographer for a W2 Contract position in Philadelphia, PA. Candidates can be travelers or local. Assignment Duration:

The initial assignment length is 13-weeks with a probability of being extended. The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $39.00 - $42.00, plus daily Non-Taxed stipends, $187 Lodging and $92 Meals & Incidentals

(non-local candidates) . Local candidates'

hourly compensation pay rate range is between $58.00 - $62.00. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k. Non-Local Candidate Estimated Weekly Gross Pay:

$2,480.00 Essential Functions: The Client is seeking a skilled

Echo Sonographer II-SATS

to perform various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including transthoracic echo, stress echo, and assistance in transesophageal echo. This role is also accountable for the preparation of preliminary interpretation reports, billing procedures, study transmittal and coverage of satellite sites. This role demonstrates advanced knowledge of pediatric echo and a higher level of ability, performance and competencies. Perform echocardiograms in accordance with lab standards while meeting daily volume expectations. Responds to emergent exams in a timely manner. Follows department workflows for reporting, billing and standard daily performance. Ensures patient care is provided in a clean, safe, quiet, and secure environment. Renders excellent patient care to patients and families. All hospital-related interactions are courteous and confidential and in accordance with HIPPAA regulations. Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to deliver developmental and age-appropriate care to patients. Participates in staff meetings, research studies, quality assurance activities and working groups. Cooperates and assists in obtaining institutional, divisional and departmental initiatives and goals. Assists in the teaching of students, fellows and new technicians. May be asked to travel to other locations. Skills: Advanced knowledge of the principles of ultrasound physics and instrumentation of ultrasound systems. Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology. Advanced knowledge of transthoracic echocardiography. Advanced proficiency in operation of ultrasound equipment and digital reporting software. Participation in national, international or original research studies. Ability to travel to multiple work locations. Minimum Qualifications: Required Education: High School Diploma/GED Required Experience: Two (2) years of pediatric echocardiography experience Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Preferred Experience: Five (5) years of pediatric echocardiography experience AZAD is looking for bright, talented, flexible, and customer-centric problem solvers who enjoy the challenges associated with solving the most complex problems by utilizing the most sophisticated technologies and strong people skills.
