Our hospital contains specialists in Anesthesia, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Physical Rehabilitation, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Surgery as well as a 24/7 emergency service.
The doctors, technicians and team at MedVet Columbus work hard to maintain a collaborative and supportive environment in which to support the growth of our doctors and provide excellent care to our patients, clients and referring veterinarians.
The hospital is staffed 24 hours a day with a highly trained ICU nursing team and is equipped with on-site digital radiology, ultrasound, CT, brand new MRI, laparoscopy, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, Hi Flow oxygen, mechanical ventilation, in house labs, and onsite full service IDEXX laboratory.
We have a brand new Surgery-Procedural-Anesthesia suite with dedicated, state-of-the-art operating rooms in a sterile corridor, an endoscopy/procedure room, and a large pre-operative space that allows for centralized anesthesia care.

In Columbus, the love for the Ohio State Buckeyes is well known, however, the city has much more to offer. It's also known as a top foodie hot spot and a go-to for top fashion and shopping. Columbus is an eclectic, modern city with a small-town feel. From its comfortable suburbs with great schools to inclusive downtown and urban neighborhoods, Columbus has something for everyone. The area boasts over 20 metro parks and the Olentangy bike trail, with 17.5 miles of trail that connects the Ohio trail to the Erie trail. Worthington, a northern suburb of Columbus, is known for its quaint downtown called "Old Worthington." While walking around Worthington Green, you can stop at a local coffee shop, visit many restaurants, or learn history at the Worthington Historical Society or the Orange Johnson House.
Qualifications:
DVM degree from an AVMA-recognized institution
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of your program
Employment interview with background check
Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty members with knowledge of applicant’s clinical abilities and communication skills (new grads)
