Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed.
Monitor and assess patient progress and response to therapy.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory care.
Utilize performance metrics to track and improve personal success.
Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care and performance outcomes.
Identify and address any issues affecting patient care or therapy effectiveness.
Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and procedures.
Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork and accountability.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Experience in administering respiratory therapy treatments in clinical settings.
Ability to monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
Ability to utilize performance metrics for personal success tracking.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Proven ability to identify and resolve patient care issues.
Proficient in documentation and compliance with safety standards.
Experience in developing respiratory care protocols and procedures.
