AdventHealth Orlando Outpatient Clinic When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth’s mission in the communities we serve. You will evaluate and conduct medically indicated Speech Language pathology treatment programs for patients in our Orlando Clinics. The role you’ll contribute:

The Physical Therapist – Outpatient professional provides direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accepts the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action. Responsibilities

Determines Physical Therapy Diagnosis and establishes plan of care, and makes recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside of the scope of Physical Therapist practice. Actively promotes evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal clubs, teaching/mentoring/CI, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group. Engages in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships (minimum of 2 contacts per month) and supports consumer marketing and public awareness through community events or educational activities as approved by management. Supports scheduling so that each patient meets the plan of care as agreed upon by the patient and referring physician; adjusts own schedule or works with the team to meet patient needs; may adjust hours to assist other centers/programs as approved by management. Qualifications

Physical Therapist (PT) temporary State permit as Physical Therapist Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Preferred Qualifications

Clinical experience with lymphatic patients and patients with a history of cancer
