Assistant Director - Operating Room Little Rock
Summary: Supports the Director in achieving BHMC and System goals; participates in hospital-wide development of patient care programs, policies, and procedures related to nursing care. Assists in developing and implementing plans for nursing care. Responsible for leadership and management of clinical practice and resources of the nursing department on a 24-hour basis. Effectively plans and executes strategic priorities. Prioritizes demands from multiple resources. Leads and directs clinical and administrative staff. Promotes a culture of safety and change. Displays professionalism, maintains poise, and projects a positive attitude. Additional Information: Requires licensure in Arkansas; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of progressive nurse management or higher; five (5) years of nursing management experience is preferred. This position is authorized for 80 hours bi-weekly. Connect With Us
