Entry level position! We offer extensive training! IICAPS is an intensive in-home program for children at risk ofpsychiatric hospitalization and their families. IICAPS provides aunique opportunity to build strong connections to families in theirnatural environments. Services includes individual and family therapy,parenting skills training, school interventions, crisis support, casemanagement and advocacy. IICAPS operates from a multidisciplinary,team approach where you will work in teams of a clinician and mentalhealth counselor, both of whom lead sessions and treatmentmeetings.You will have the opportunity to collaborate with variousprofessionals of different disciplines weekly. Teams receive weeklygroup supervision and individual licensure supervision. Teams areprovided IICAPS model training provided by Yale as well as in-housetraining to promote clinical growth and development. JOB SUMMARY The Clinician provides direct services to clients, in the office,school, or other identified setting to meet the unique needs offamilies served. Unlicensed clinicians are hired prior to obtainingtheir license to practice as mental health practitioners (i.e.psychology, social work, LMFT, LPC, LADC). Unlicensed clinicians willreceive supervision by a licensed clinician and may be offeredtraining opportunities. When eligible, all unlicensed clinicians areexpected to obtain licensure in order to be considered for ongoingemployment at The Village. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct services may include, but not limited to: Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement Determines DSM V Diagnosis in consultation with Supervisor andMedical Director or designated Psychiatrist, as needed Develops treatment plans and contracts for services Implements treatment plans, modifying it as appropriate duringthe course of treatment Discharge planning, which may include linkages to communitysupport services Provides case management services Completes clinical documentation required by agency andprogram policies, HIPAA regulations, and funding sources Maintains productivity targets determined by service

Participates and presents in Peer Consultation and QualityAssurance Reviews. Fosters collaboration with other clinical and administrative staffto respond to client and programmatic needs, including theimplementation of agency policies, procedures, and initiatives. Partners with other program or clinical staff to identify anddevelop approaches to address clients’ unmet needs or service gaps. Acquires and maintains the needed skills in evidenced based modelsthat the agency/program ascribe to. Partners with Supervisor to identify and develop plans forprofessional growth. Contributes to program functioning by assuming responsibility forspecial tasks or leadership in special projects as appropriate. Contributes to agency organizational life by participating inagency wide task forces, committees or problem solving teams as appropriate. Contributes to agency visibility and development of communitylinkages by representing the Village in community groups or committees. Experience and Skills

EDUCATION Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage or FamilyTherapy or other licensed-eligible counseling degree. LMSW, LPCA or LMFTA or equivalent preferred. May graduates and those that are licensed eligible are encouragedto apply! EXPERIENCE Two years of clinical experience working with children or familiesis preferred (diagnostic, assessment and treatment for individual, family) Experience working with culturally diverse urban populations. Knowledge of mental health, child welfare systems and community resources. Proficient in oral, written documentation and correspondence. Schedule Hybrid office/home balance Monday-Friday: Willingness for some flexibility to meet the needsof families Some on-call required that includes an additional stipend Monthly Profit Sharing Licensure supervision hours provided weekly! Mileage reimbursement for business related travel
