Summary:
MS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support engineering and facility operations for advanced nuclear and industrial systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in system design, analysis, and maintenance, with a strong understanding of hydraulic, piping, and pressure systems, as well as facility and utility operations. This position will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable, compliant, and efficient mechanical systems that support MS Technology’s mission of advancing safe and innovative technologies.
Responsibilities
Analysis experience (hydraulic, piping, pressure vessel design, ventilation)
Facility or utility design/maintenance experience
Create and document engineering designs [requirements, specifications, mechanical drawings, process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), engineering calculations, etc.]
Develop standard operating procedures
Develop maintenance plans for process equipment and support systems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience in industrial, utility, or facility environments
Knowledge of mechanical design principles, pressure systems, and applicable industry codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.)
Proficiency in developing and interpreting technical drawings and documentation
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Inventor preferred
Preferred Background
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
Active or previous DOE Q Clearance, or eligibility to obtain
Experience in nuclear or other highly regulated industrial environments
