Tangram Interiors: Join the Family The Installation Foreman is responsible for ensuring professional delivery and installation that meets customer needs and safeguards Tangram's interests. The role involves overseeing field personnel to ensure precautions are taken to protect the customer's facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: This description outlines the primary duties but is not exhaustive. The individual may be asked to perform additional tasks as directed by their supervisor. Key responsibilities include: Work Process & Quality Review all documentation before arriving at the customer site and address any discrepancies or missing information. Ensure all necessary equipment, tools, and supplies are prepared and properly stored. Load, unload, and secure trucks with furniture, equipment, and other items to prevent damage. Perform receiving functions, including checking quantities, verifying product and part numbers, and inspecting for damage or missing parts. Transport items to staging, installation, and loading areas using appropriate equipment. Disassemble, assemble, install, align, fine-tune, adjust, clean, and detail furniture as needed. Maintain cleanliness by removing debris and trash from the customer site and disposing of it properly. Respect and protect property belonging to customers, the company, and others. Keep company vehicles clean and organized. Drive company vehicles to transport products between locations, customers, and vendors. People & Communication Coordinate with crew leaders for work assignments, techniques, and resolving discrepancies. Communicate professionally and politely with customers, vendors, third-party representatives, and colleagues. Project Administration Complete all required field paperwork accurately and promptly, including packing lists, delivery tickets, exception reports, project journals, and change orders. Obtain customer approval and signatures on relevant documents. Record and label all returned products. Assist in identifying replacement parts and completing exception reports.
