We have an outstanding opportunity for a Construction Project Executive with significant commercial experience. This position will be located in Issaquah, Washington. What we expect… (Essential Functions) Responsible for the overall management of one large $200MM+ project or multiple complex construction projects. Key responsibilities: Project Administration, Financial Performance, Schedule Performance, Risk Management, Relationship Management, Team Member Development, and Collaboration. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION Facilitates Customer and Team meetings and ensures detailed meeting minutes and action items are updated and promptly distributed. Ensures that all project start‑up meetings are held with the appropriate team members. Ensures that project action items are tracked and completed to support the project requirements. Ensures that project staff completes submittal reviews, status reports, closeout documents, and maintenance manuals promptly. Visits project sites regularly. FINANCIAL SUCCESS Continually monitors progress, identifies issues early during budget/cost reviews, develops corrective actions, and provides reports to the Responsible Director, Regional Manager, or Vice President. Operates within budgetary limitations and requirements. Develops proposals and execution strategies for the project, with buy‑in from Construction, A/E, MEP Services, and Field Ops, and includes a reporting process to update Market Leaders. Monitors procurement of all required materials, subcontracts, equipment, and services for optimal savings within safety, quality, scheduling, training, and profitability requirements. Ensures proper issuance of change orders, completion of red files, and review with the Site Manager. SCHEDULE PERFORMANCE Oversight of project team in the development and maintenance of the project master schedule to ensure conformance to execution strategy and contractual obligations. Collaborates with Field Operations Managers, A/E Services, and MEP Services to assess project schedule progress, identify potential issues, and assist in developing corrective measures. Documents and communicates any delays and justifications for extensions. RISK MANAGEMENT Ensures all contractual terms and conditions are understood and decisions are made based on obligations. Ensures safety, quality, scheduling, training, and profitability goals are met and implements safety and quality programs. Develops the project risk management plan and monitors and reports progress. Assesses plan effectiveness, collaborates with managers to develop changes, and implements corrective actions. Provides oversight, identifies issues, assists in developing corrective measures, and monitors risk mitigation. Demonstrates consistent problem‑solving communication. RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Acts as the primary customer contact and account manager, above Project Manager levels. Develops relationship management plans, reports progress, and incorporates plans into the Project Execution plan. Assesses effectiveness, collaborates to develop plan changes, and implements corrective actions. Exhibits leadership qualities and values across the team, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers. Ensures continuity of workflow when staff changes occur. TEAM MEMBER DEVELOPMENT Ensures project staff uphold the company's vision, core values, and mission. Mentors and trains senior managers, managers, and assistant managers, and develops action plans for resource issues. COLLABORATION Maintains a cooperative work environment between engineering/design staff and construction site staff. Communicates regularly with other Project Executives, Directors, Regional Managers, and Vice Presidents. ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY The Responsible Director, Regional Manager, or Vice President has the authority to execute subcontract agreements, release early payments, accept deviations, and execute customer change orders. Qualifications

Who we want… (Requirements) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This individual is key to overall project success, including planning, design, and execution. Must have a proven track record as a leader of multiple large complex projects and experience developing proposal teams. Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university, or a minimum of ten years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of seven consecutive years total profit and loss accountability on multiple projects. Must have a minimum of five years of experience managing all disciplines of design/build projects or hard bid projects for the market served. Must have experience in all contracting methods such as lump sum, GMP, cost plus construction management, and fee‑based construction, and understand legal aspects of contractual language. Must have a proven record of increasing project profitability from the initial margin on multiple projects. Must be sufficiently knowledgeable in technical aspects of engineering and design disciplines to represent Gray as the primary contact in initial project discussions with customers, and fully understand the costs and fees associated with Gray’s engineering and design services. Must understand the impact of design, engineering, and construction changes on overall project cost, schedule, and operations, and know how to address these issues with customers. Must have managed at least one project involving significant equipment procurement or installation within the scope of project services, exceeding two million dollars in component value. Must be able to mentor and/or train other project staff, such as senior project managers and assistant project managers. Must have proven experience in developing aggressive schedules for projects with variables such as type, area, and seasonal start dates. Must have proven experience in preparing cost estimates for design/build projects in the industrial arena. Must be able to maintain harmonious relationships with owners, co‑workers, vendors, suppliers, and community stakeholders. Supervisory Responsibilities
