Full Time Job Description
The Automation Technician provides industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of the production facility. They serve as the technical expert in maintenance activities related to automation of facility equipment. Key responsibilities include setup, teardown, troubleshooting, and repair of automated, electrical, and mechanical systems. Success depends on knowledge of automated manufacturing systems, maintenance and troubleshooting skills, and effective communication with team members and internal customers. Position Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair production systems including: Automation systems - Allen Bradley PLC systems (PLC5, ControlLogix, SLC) Electrical systems - motor controls, wiring, AC inverters, DC controllers Mechanical systems - pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets (25%-75% of work time) Required Experience
High School diploma or GED (preferred) Valid food handler's card from Tulsa Health Department Technical degree or equivalent experience in automation Proven safety record Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, IP addresses, network settings Programming experience in PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics Preferred Experience
5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably food industry First Class Stationary Engineer license Basic MIG and TIG welding skills Experience with shop machinery (mills, lathes, drill presses) Bama is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
