EMH&T is seeking a Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Urban Design team in Columbus, OH. The role involves collaborating with the project team to develop solutions for client needs, design challenges, and construction issues. Responsibilities
Prepare conceptual plans, exhibits, and plan sets. Tasks may include drainage analysis, surface preparation, survey data line work, contour drawings, plan and profile drawings, grading, utility plans, storm sewers, roadways, easements, access drives, and parking, following local zoning and EMH&T standards. Desired Skills
Apply engineering knowledge to practical design challenges. Pay close attention to detail. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Work independently with guidance. Collaborate well with team members. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. At least 5 years of experience. Experience in civil, construction, or related fields, including internships or co-ops, especially in engineering consulting, is preferred. Benefits
