Landmark Construction, Landmark Properties' in-house general contractor, is seeking Traveling Superintendents to join our team. Learn more about our work at:
https://www.landmarkproperties.com/construction/ Lead Superintendents and Assistants are based on-site, in temporary trailers or offices near the construction site. The Assistant Superintendent supports the Lead Superintendent in supervising, organizing, planning, and scheduling construction activities, ensuring a safe and efficient project site. Key skills include team building, work organization, scheduling, cost control, and managing trade staffing, equipment, and materials. Maintaining good relationships with Development, Design, and Preconstruction teams is also essential. Reports to:

None Responsibilities
Review construction drawings and specifications for constructability issues. Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and labor, managing site logistics for timely delivery. Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and forecasting labor, equipment, and material needs. Oversee field operations including permits, risk management, scheduling, safety, quality, and documentation. Maintain daily logs of project progress and issues. Coordinate tests, inspections, punch list activities, and ensure all corrections are completed. Enforce subcontractor agreements and monitor safety and quality standards. Conduct safety investigations and prepare reports. Participate in meetings and prepare minutes. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience in residential and mixed-use construction. Experience working on multiple projects or large-scale projects. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Proficiency with scheduling and job cost software (e.g., P6, Primavera, Procore). Skills & Abilities
Ability to interpret blueprints and financial reports. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Work Environment & Physical Demands
The environment is typical of construction sites with moderate noise. Travel may be required, including overnight stays.
