We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The role involves providing preventive oral care, educating patients on proper oral hygiene, and supporting the dentist in delivering high-quality dental services. Key Responsibilities
Perform professional teeth cleaning, including scaling and polishing. Conduct oral health assessments and screen for signs of oral diseases (e.g., cavities, gingivitis, periodontal disease). Take and develop dental X-rays. Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, proper brushing, flossing, and dietary habits. Document patient care and maintain accurate dental records. Assist the dentist with clinical procedures when needed. Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols. Stay current with dental hygiene best practices and continuing education. Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Active state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Current CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented. Preferred Skills
Experience with digital X-ray and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft). Bilingual skills are a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment
Clinical dental office setting. Direct interaction with patients and dental staff. Use of protective equipment (gloves, masks, eyewear).
