About this position The Radiology Technologist performs X-rays requested by physicians to help diagnose a variety of medical issues. Must closely follow physicians’ instructions, prepare radiograph equipment, position patients correctly, and accurately capture the requested diagnostic images. Demonstrates the mission, vision, values and guiding principles of Maple Grove Hospital.
Responsibilities
Perform radiologic procedures as requested by physicians, ensuring correct positioning and imaging according to protocols. Prepare radiography equipment and maintain image quality consistent with safety and infection-control standards. Follow physician instructions and collaborate with clinical teams to support accurate diagnoses.
Qualifications
Education Must have graduated from an accredited radiology technology school Experience A minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting is preferred. Will consider new graduates of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Must provide 2 letters of recommendation (one from a clinical instructor and one from a clinical coordinator). Provide transcripts confirming a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Casual part-time positions will not be considered under these criteria. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards. Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependable performer. Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, families, guests, and all levels of team members. Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations. Strong communication skills to express ideas clearly and concisely to the audience. Effective planning, organizational and detail-oriented skills. Demonstrated ability to handle conflict positively and consider the needs of others. Solid PC skills including MS applications and Internet use. Ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
