We have three clinics in the KC area: two in Grain Valley, MO, and one in Liberty, MO. Speech Language Pathologist:
Identify, provide, and create opportunities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Work collaboratively with BCBAs, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Therapists, and other team members to provide therapy services. Provide parent support and coaching when applicable. Be comfortable with frequent parent observation sessions. Be eager to learn, educate staff, and grow within your career. Requirements:
Certified Speech and Language Pathologist Licensed as SLP in Missouri Criminal Background Check CPR certification (must obtain and maintain) Preferred 1-2 years of experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability Collaborative team player Enthusiastic, ethical, and enjoys working with children Professional, with integrity Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet; ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Responsibilities:
Perform speech and language evaluations Provide direct therapy Educate and consult with staff on speech and language development Supervise Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Clinical Fellows Assess communication skills to identify disorders, determine eligibility, and develop treatment recommendations Collaborate with parents, teachers, physicians, and other professionals Participate in team meetings and case reviews Develop treatment plans and educational materials Instruct support staff and students on communication devices and techniques Interpret medical reports to inform treatment plans Maintain records and documentation Participate in training, IEPs, and workshops Perform other duties as assigned Maintain safety and hygiene practices, including PPE and social distancing measures Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift, No Weekends Pay: $68,000 - $76,500 per year Benefits: 401(k) 8 Paid Holidays Paid time off Opportunities for professional development Medical specialties: Pediatrics Schedule: Day Shift Work Location: On-site Note:
