In this role, you will navigate through our EMR to register patients for a variety of procedures, surgeries and appointments, obtain demographic details, insurance information and verification. You will ensure proper scheduling, record patient history and obtain pre‑certification and authorization.

This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday 40‑hour work week. Must be flexible with variable hours from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

35 South Riverside Avenue, Suite 106, Croton‑on‑Hudson, NY 10520
1756 Route 9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516
Must be willing to travel/provide coverage across various Hudson Valley Medical Group locations listed above as needed.
Preferred Criteria
Knowledge of medical procedures, routines, regulations and medical terminology.
Experience working in a busy out‑patient practice.
Experience with surgical scheduling and pre‑authorizations.
Orthopedics or Radiology experience.
Knowledge of Coding: ICD 10, CPT‑4, health insurance benefits/requirements.
EMR experience/EPIC
Required Criteria
1+ year of clerical experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Effective communication skills verbal and written.
Superior Customer Service skills.
Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first.
Must be detail‑oriented, able to problem solve and work independently.
Ability to multi‑task and perform various registration duties efficiently.
