Staffed Family Child Care Network Facilitator Region 5
Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $27.00/hr
Seeking a bilingual English/Spanish facilitator to work with the current SFCC Facilitator in Region 5 and CTAEYC FCC Coordinator to manage the operations of a Staffed Family Child Care Network in Region 5. In this role he/she will work directly with family childcare providers to support their quality improvement efforts.
Towns in Region 5 include: Ansonia, Bethany, Branford, Chester, Clinton, Cromwell, Deep River, Derby, Durham, East Haddam, East Hampton, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Higganum (Haddam), Ivoryton (Essex), Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Meriden, Middlefield, Middletown, Milford, Moodus (East Haddam), New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Northford (North Branford), Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Orange, Portland, Rockfall (Middlefield), Seymour, Shelton, Wallingford, West Haven, Westbrook, Woodbridge.
Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day operations and tracking of the Staffed Family Child Care Network
Recruitment and enrollment of participants into the Network
Communication and correspondence with registered providers
Engage Network members in communities of practice, professional development and coaching
Work directly with Family Child Care providers to identify quality improvement goals and support them in accessing needed resources to achieve those goals
Communicate benefits of NAFCC membership and accreditation and support efforts to achieve accreditation
Coordinate data collected through online resources and sites
Assist with FCC Grant documentation and compiling data for reporting
Qualifications
Knowledge of Excel, SurveyMonkey, GSuite/Google Drive, and data management
Knowledge of Family Child Care industry, FCC licensing requirements and available supports
Experience working with Family Child Care providers
Excellent communication skills
Bilingual English/Spanish required
