Lab Technician
Base pay range: $20.50/hr - $21.53/hr.
This role is for a Lab Technician who will work Sunday through Thursday on the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The technician will perform various wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products, along with sustainability tests and routine benchtop testing, including titration, viscosity, pH, HPLC, density, microbial testing, and GC. The role requires sample collection from the production floor and effective communication with different departments. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Conduct sustainability tests.
Perform routine benchtop testing, including titration, viscosity, pH, HPLC, density, microbial testing, and GC.
Collect samples from the production floor for testing.
Communicate effectively between departments as necessary.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in wet chemistry and titration.
Experience with quality control and analytical chemistry.
Understanding of basic chemistry testing.
Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, etc.).
Knowledge of GMP and laboratory practices.
Knowledge in microbiology and chemical analysis.
Work Environment The majority of the work will be conducted in the lab, with occasional sample collection from the production floor. The facility is large, requiring approximately 10 minutes to traverse, and a bike may be used for quicker access. The position operates on a Sunday to Thursday schedule during the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Opportunities for advancement within the lab or transfer to other facilities are available due to expansion.
