location. The Pharmacist compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs in a healthcare environment, handles prescription transfers, manages physician calls, logs data, and performs drug utilization reviews. Core Job Functions
Implement and maintain procedures for pharmaceuticals according to policies and legal standards. Compound and dispense medications as prescribed, calculating and measuring ingredients accurately. Ensure proper dosages by calculating medication volumes. Assess medication identity, strength, and purity. Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness. Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, and storage. Monitor prescription trends to ensure patient compliance and safety. Maintain records including patient profiles, inventories, and control records. Advise customers on medication and healthcare supplies. Follow university policies and safeguard assets. This list is not exhaustive and may include other duties as necessary. Core Qualifications
Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy. Current licensure in good standing in Florida. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
