Job Summary Radiology Technologists are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $1,000 (New Hires) The Radiologic Technologist II works independently and/or assists physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting. The technologist is responsible for inpatient & outpatient procedures, the emergency room, fluoroscopy, portables, and the operating rooms. Responsibilities Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time. Foster teamwork, engagement, and community involvement. Support a safe patient environment based on "First Do No Harm" principles. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year/Associate Degree preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program; certification required within 6 months of hire. Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology preferred. ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R) required. Applicable state licensure as required. Knowledge of ALARA principles, radiation safety laws, and proper equipment operation.
