Location: Menomonee Falls, WI – Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.
Job type: Full‑time, 60% FTE. Standard hours: 24.00 per week. Shift: 2. Shift details: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (no weekends or holidays).
Sign‑on bonus: $2,000.
Job Summary The Psychotherapist will directly support the Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) by providing high‑quality, evidence‑based clinical care. Responsibilities include initial assessment, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, care coordination, and group therapy, with a primary focus on individual and family services. The psychotherapist will also support community‑based family education/programming within the health‑care setting to promote recovery, address social determinants of health in collaboration with other providers, and participate in post‑discharge follow‑up and quality‑assurance projects. The provider works as part of a collaborative care model and will support other clinical duties as assigned.
Experience 3,000 hours of post‑graduate clinical supervision and care coordination for behavioral health patients is preferred.
Education Master's degree in social work, counseling, educational psychology, or an allied health profession from an accredited college or university is required. A master's degree in a clinical mental or behavioral health discipline with a clinic field placement/practicum is preferred.
Training Specific clinical training in psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation, and assessment is required. Training in substance‑use‑disorder treatment or in one or more specific modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.) is preferred.
Licensure Current Wisconsin licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required. Other disciplines will be considered with DSPS pre‑approval.
